Storm & Hurricane Debris Cleanup in South Florida

After a hurricane or tropical storm passes, everyone has the same problem at the same time. There are branches across the yard, fencing on the ground, soaked carpet and drywall coming out of the house, and city debris pickup that can take weeks to come around. Hurricane Haul helps homeowners, property managers and businesses in Miami-Dade and Broward clear storm debris so recovery can start sooner.

Storm debris we haul

  • Downed branches and vegetation that's already on the ground or cut to manageable size
  • Damaged fencing, screen enclosures, awnings and shutters
  • Water-damaged furniture, mattresses, rugs and carpet
  • Wet drywall, insulation, flooring and baseboards pulled during dry-out
  • Spoiled appliances, such as refrigerators and freezers after an outage
  • General storm litter and debris from yards, pools and parking areas

We haul debris. We don't cut trees, remove trees from structures or do roof repairs. Please work with a licensed tree service or roofer for those, and we can haul the debris once it's down. We don't take hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, asbestos) or tires.

Before and after a storm

  • Before the storm: clear loose junk, old furniture and yard debris that could become projectiles. Scheduling a pickup during a watch, before conditions turn, can help.
  • After the storm: first make sure it's safe. Stay away from downed power lines and standing water near electrical equipment. Then photograph the damage for your insurance before anything is removed, and text us photos of what needs to go.
  • Documentation: we can send photos of the area before and after the haul, which is useful for your insurance records.

How storm cleanup works

  1. Text photos of the debris to (305) 951-3363 once it's safe.
  2. We quote and schedule. After big storms, demand spikes, and we work through requests in order as quickly as we can.
  3. We load and haul, and leave the area as clear as possible.

Why Hurricane Haul after a storm

We're a local, licensed and insured crew. We aren't storm chasers who show up from out of state and disappear. We'll be here next season too. Contractors repairing storm damage can set up recurring construction debris pickups, with volume pricing for ongoing work.

FAQ

Common questions

How soon after a storm can you come?

Once the roads are safe, we schedule requests as they come in. Text photos early to get on the list.

Do you cut down or remove trees?

No. We haul branches and vegetation that's already down or cut. Use a licensed tree service for cutting.

Can you haul water-damaged drywall and carpet?

Yes. Wet drywall, carpet, pad, insulation and furniture are common storm-cleanup loads.

Should I wait for the city's storm debris pickup?

That's an option, but it can take a while after a major storm. If you need it gone sooner, or the pile is on private property, we can haul it.

Will you help document the debris for insurance?

We can send before-and-after photos of the pickup. Take your own damage photos before anything is moved.
